Round Two! {DING!}

Here I am for round two of catch up! About a month ago Nelson had a trip to Salt Lake City for one of his architecture classes. I am the biggest wimp and can't spend a week all by myself :), so Ashton and I went to Idaho! It actually worked out perfectly because Nelson drove to Idaho Falls with us and then got together with his group for the rest of the trip to Utah.

There is the cutest little frozen yogurt shop in Idaho Falls called the Orange Leaf. Yuuummmy!! :) Ashton and Ava especially loved it!

The cutest pair of cousins bathing together!

Ashton was SO happy to see his papa!!

...and Grandma too! :)

Ashton and Ava playing at the park together!

Weeee!! Ava and Tara on the swing!

Wagon ride!!

They LOVE it!

Aren't they the cutest??

Swinging with Grandpa!

These two just love my dad!

CUTE!!!

Ashton playing with Grandpa!

These two toddlers ventured inside my dad's BMW. They loved it!

Ava is waving hi and Ashton is very seriously adjusting the radio! ;)

Cute little cousins!!

Ash got right out of the car and tried to push it...I almost died of laughter!!

Tara and Jarom left for an Alaskan cruise so Ava was in the care of Tom and Pat for a whole week!! Tom put her little shirt on backwards, and we thought it was too cute to change!

Neither one of the kids can reach the pedals on this trike, but they love to push each other around!!

The only downside is that they are awful at steering! ;) They push each other into the wall in a matter of seconds!

We had quite the adventure on our way back home to Bozeman. My car started making some weird noises and luckily we made it about 20 miles outside of Bozeman when there was a terrible pop in the engine, lots of oil gushing out, and smoke billowing out the hood. The funniest part was Ashton clapping his hands because he was able to get out of his carseat! :) At least our car blowing up made one person happy! My car was a graduation present and lasted almost five years to the day!! The poor car had tons of miles and served us very well going back and forth from Bozeman to Blackfoot. We sold it to a junk yard for $50 and said farewell to our little brown car. Nelson and I have been blessed with the best dads in the world (no joking!) and they both drove up early the next morning to bring us a car. My dad generously gave us one of his cars. We are so so grateful for their willingness to help us out! We are really enjoying our "new" car since my old one only had two doors and this one has four. It is much easier to get Ashton in and out of the car.

Ashton was so happy since both of his grandpas were doting on him! :)

Ashton also got a new car, oh wait, just kidding. These cute little cars are all over campus and Ashton absolutely loves getting inside one. It is soo funny because he will only go backwards. I had a bellyache from laughing so hard!

It has finally warmed up here in Bozeman and we have been taking advantage of the beautiful summer days!!

Don't worry...there is even more blogging to come!! I think one more blog post will get us caught up! :)
