F is for Fire Station!

Before we moved into our house, we lived in an apartment right across the street from a fire station. Ashton's bedroom window faced the station and this is where his deep love for all things firefighter began.

Ashton was beyond excited to visit the fire station and meet some real firefighters. I have tried my best to teach him about what firefighters do, but I think his 3-year-old mind has a hard time imagining a big, scary fire. Ashton's favorite part was being with his friends and holding Landon's hand wherever we went. :)

Ashton and Landon inside the firetruck! Ashton is usually very timid in public settings, and this one was no different. Even though his face isn't showing it, he had such a great time and is still talking about it.

Learning all about firetrucks!

All the kiddos!!

All Ashton can think about is how tall that fire fighter is...

Cute little firefighter hats! Ashton likes to wear his backwards...it cracks Nelson and me up!
Ashton loves to figure out what letter a word starts with. All day leading up to our trip to the fire station, Ashton was chanting, "F is for firefighter, f..f..firefighter! F is for fire station, f...f...fire station!"
That's right, buddy! F is also for FUN, f..f..FUN!!! ;)
